Daily Maintenance of Cranes
- Ensure that it always has good technical specifications, is reliable and normal in different organizational operations, and improve management indicators such as availability and utilization rate.
- Have good performance indicators, improve the protection of components, ensure firm connection and normal operation and function of hydraulic electronic components, and prevent abnormal vibration due to electrical factors of the crane to meet the normal start-up rules.
- Ensure safe use.
- Comply with relevant environmental protection levels stipulated by the state and departments.
- Effectively and efficiently increase the service life of the crane. Through maintenance and repair, effectively increase the maintenance interval of the mechanism, involving the repair cycle time, and thereby increase the service life.
Safety Operation Rules of Flat-arm Cranes
- When the driver takes over, inspect the braking system, hook, wire rope and safety protection devices. When abnormal functions are found, they should be cleared before operation.
- Before departure, the bell must be rung or an alarm given.
- The operation should be carried out according to the guidance signal. For the emergency stop signal, no matter who issues it, it should be immediately executed.
- Only when it is confirmed that there is no one on and around the flat-arm crane can the main power supply be turned off. If there is a lock or sign in the power supply short-circuit device, it should be removed by the relevant personnel before the main power supply can be turned off.
- Before closing the main power supply, each controller handle should be placed at the zero position.
- When there is a sudden power outage during operation, all controller handles should be pulled back to the zero position, and before resuming work, it should be inspected whether the movements of the flat-arm crane are normal.
- For the flat-arm crane working outdoors in the track, after the work is completed, the flat-arm crane should be guided first. When the wind speed exceeds 6 levels, generally the work should be suspended and the flat-arm crane should be guided. Regarding the flat-arm crane working as a crane in coastal areas, when the wind speed exceeds 7 levels, the work should be suspended and the flat-arm crane should be guided.
Transfer Automation Solution: How to Extend the Service Life of Hoisting Machinery
- Use a relatively thick plastic bag for overall packaging. In other words, it is not advisable to just throw the hoisting machinery there casually and leave it exposed naturally. There is no benefit in this. This requires packaging management similar to that of a vehicle, which is about using a thick plastic bag to package all items except the tires, which can well protect it from some damages and impacts from the outside.
- Carry out special staff management, and equip special staff to conduct regular inspections on the hoisting machinery from time to time to discover problems, so that it is possible to know in a timely manner whether there will be any situations during the storage period. Therefore, it is indeed a very important management measure. The staff management promotes the duty management system and the technical management system, which not only has the usual management methods but also understands the professional guidance management methods.
- An early warning and monitoring system should be established, which is actually for the consideration of the safety of the hoisting machinery to prevent some illegal behaviors by other people who do not use it carefully. It can also understand the storage situation inside through the monitor, and this can use digitalization to enhance the detection.
